Irvine Sensors Forms Technical Advisory Board

Irvine Sensors Corporation has established a technical advisory board to assist and enable the company's planned growth in revenue and stockholder value. The technical advisory board's role will be to advise and critique the company's strategic planning, product definition and business development through regularly scheduled meetings and consultations as required with Irvine Sensors' senior management.

Initial members of the board have been selected based on their recognized stature and experience in the commercial Information Security and Aerospace and Defense business sectors.  They are:

Jeff Debrosse, who is a technical product manager at Ntrepid who has more than 25 years experience in next-generation technology fields with a strong focus on network security, software development, embedded system development (hardware and software), and wireless network design and implementation. Debrosse is also a recipient of the White House’s 2010 award for best security awareness program.

William McBorrough, co-founder, president and CEO of Secure Intervention – a Washington, D.C.-based information security and technology consulting firm, specializes in security assessments, compliance readiness, enterprise risk management and Cloud computing security for both public and private enterprises. McBorrough is on the faculty of various universities, including University of Maryland - University College, EC-Council University, George Mason University and Northern Virginia Community College, where he conducts research and teaches graduate and undergraduate courses relating to cybersecurity, cybercrime, cyberterrorism and information security.

Anthony J. Tether, director of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) from 2001 to 2009, was honored by Secretary of Defense Robert Gates with the Department of Defense’s Outstanding Public Service medal.  Prior to 2001,. Tether served as the CEO and president at the Sequoia Group; CEO at Dynamics Technology Inc.; vice president of Science Applications International Corporation's (SAIC) advanced technology sector, and then a vice president and general manager for range systems at SAIC.

Simon Williams is a senior vice president at Metaswitch Networks, which provides carrier communication systems.  Williams has more than 20 years of experience in areas ranging from sales management to product strategy.  Prior to joining Metaswitch Networks, he was the CTO of Ericsson's IP and Broadband Division.  Previously, Williams held various senior-level positions at Redback Networks in the U.S. and Asia.
