UTC Fire & Security Technology to Support Fire Training Center in China

UTC Fire & Security has announced an agreement with Chongqing Fire Department to provide Kidde Live Fire Trainer technology to help build a fire training center in Chongqing. UTC Fire & Security is a business unit of United Technologies Corp.

According to the agreement, Chongqing Fire Department will deploy Kidde Live Fire Trainer technology to equip the Chongqing Fire Training Center located at the Fusheng area, Chongqing. Chongqing Yujie Fire Protection Equipment Co. Ltd, under the management of UTC Fire & Security Asia, will supply Kidde Live Fire Trainer systems and provide installation and training services. The fire training center is currently under construction and has a total area of more than 168,000 square meters, including training area, teaching buildings and a dormitory for trainees.

Kidde live fire training simulators realistically replicate the heat, smoke, flames and chaos of a real fire emergency, yet do so in a controlled and environmentally sound manner. Kidde takes extra precautions to ensure trainees' safety.
