Bosch Adds Dinion Cameras with Full HD Resolution

Bosch Security Systems Inc. introduces the Dinion HD 1080p day/night IP cameras, the latest additions to the company’s high-definition portfolio. The cameras combine full HD resolution images with low light operation and color reproduction to provide an advanced level of detail for surveillance applications.

A specially selected image sensor delivers detection and analysis. Clear images make it easier to identify items, while different color tones can be distinguished even in poor lighting.

The 2 megapixel cameras enable easy identification of faces, objects and alphanumeric information over a wide area. Operators can zoom in to any part of a scene to examine specific details without losing clarity. Conforming to the HD standard, the cameras produce images in the 16:9 aspect ratio that provides increased situational awareness with a maximized field of view.

Built-in intelligent video analysis (IVA) flags alarm events on screen to ensure operators never miss suspicious activities. The higher pixel densities captured by the cameras enable optimized performance of IVA with improved detection for loitering, line crossing and other potential threats.

The cameras start-up quickly and have an easy-to-use control interface that allows fast configuration. The motorized automatic back focus makes it easy to get the sharpest image the first time and ensures accurate focus for both day and night operation. PoE support ensures no additional power supplies are needed. The cameras also conform to the ONVIF standard, ensuring they integrate with third-party security solutions.

The Dinion 1080p day/night IP cameras feature a new, next-generation camera design. The cameras have a professional look and feel, are constructed with careful attention to detail, and have an extended operating temperature that makes them suitable for hot or cold climates. They are suitable for a wide range of applications, especially those involving complex, colorful or low light scenes, including city surveillance, arenas, airports, finance and banking facilities and casinos.
