Vector Security Celebrates 20th Anniversary with New National Service Center

Vector Security celebrates its 20th anniversary of the National Accounts Division by moving into a new National Service Center located in Northern Virginia. The new facility allows the company to better serve the loss prevention market, which includes IP video, electronic article surveillance and managed network services.

The new 27,000-square-foot national service center was designed to be a virtual loss prevention services laboratory, and it will continue to serve 44,000 national customers, field 26,000 service calls per month, and repair, review and test new technologies.

“Instead of sending equipment needing repair back to manufacturers, we can do most of it right here, saving time and expense; and we’re also actively testing new equipment and technologies to ensure we remain on the cutting edge of new applications and emerging LP protocols,” said Michael Grady, executive vice president of Vector Security.

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
