CertiPath Debuts ProofCards at ISC West
CertiPath introduced its ProofCards and the add-on FaultBridge offerings at ISC West.
System makers, System integrators and System owners seeking to implement PIV and PIV-I enabled systems all run into a very specific obstacle: How do you test systems and applications using PIV and PIV-I credentials prior to deploying them in the field? This question directly impacts all parties' ability to meet certification and accreditation requirements relevant within the Federal Identity, Credential and Access Management (FICAM) marketplace. How do you test your system when there is nothing to test with?
"No matter which type of stakeholder you are, no one wants to find out that their system has been compromised," said Jeff Nigriny, CEO and President of CertiPath. "ProofCards allow you to be proactive by putting the same kinds of tools attackers have in your possession, they contain all known PIV-based attack methods providing you confidence you are protected."
The additional FaultBridge module extends the functionality of ProofCards by allowing customers to simulate the entire Federal and CertiPath trust fabrics. Until now, it was not possible to know if your system would correctly handle every fault condition within this vast infrastructure, there is no mirror environment. The FaultBridge replicates the trust fabric and systematically creates every possible fault permutation in the highly complex trust ecosystem.
