Salient Systems Becomes AMAG Technology Certified Partner

Salient Systems is now a member of AMAG Technology’s new Symmetry™ Extended Business Solutions Program as a Certified Partner. AMAG Technology is an access control, IP video and intrusion detection (IDS) solution provider.

As a Certified Partner, Salient’s CompleteView video surveillance management system integrates with Symmetry Security Management System, which combines the latest generation of video management software with feature-rich access control.  Salient has integrated their CompleteView v3.8 software, with Symmetry™ v6.2 SP4 and v7.0.  AMAG and Salient cooperatively tested and certified this integration.

CompleteView is built on the foundation of open architecture and provides the tools for unlimited scalability and flexibility to manage multiple servers and sites utilizing Single Seat Administration.   Some of the benefits of the Salient/Symmetry integration include:

  • Monitor CompleteView cameras from within the Symmetry GUI
  • Receive motion alarms from CompleteView cameras in Symmetry and initiate programmed actions
  • Control PTZ cameras attached to CompleteView from within the Symmetry GUI
  • Perform camera call up of CompleteView cameras
