Security-Net Member Companies Announce New Hires and Promotions

Security-Net is pleased to announce several new hires and promotions from within its 19 North American member companies.

Following are recent announcements from systems integrators RFI Communications & Security Systems, D/A Central, Koorsen Security Technology, Cam-Dex Security Corp. and The Protection Bureau. The announcements range from the appointment of a new company President to a new Call Center Director, Service Manager and Installation Technicians.

Koorsen Security Technology, Indianapolis, Ind. – Skip Sampson, CPP, has been promoted to President of Koorsen Security Technology. Sampson has served as the Vice President of Koorsen since 1999. As Vice President Sampson contributed to the growth and development of Koorsen Security, something that was recognized this past year when SD&I magazine named the company as one of the 50 fastest-growing system integrators. In his new position Sampson will lead the company in its day-to-day execution of its strategic business plan.

Cam-Dex Security Corp., Kansas City, Kan. – Dominic Oswalt has been hired to fill the position of Service Manager for Cam-Dex Security Corp. In this position, Oswalt will be responsible for addressing service-related issues for customers and their security systems. A trained technician, Oswalt has 15 years of experience in the security industry.

RFI Communications & Security Systems, San Jose, Calif. – Dan Kilgore has taken on a new role at RFI Communications & Security Systems as the Director of Global Accounts. In this position Kilgore will focus on strengthening relationships with Global, National and Key accounts. Kilgore will utilize his 27 years of experience in the industry to help create an environment where both RFI and Security-Net can serve customers on both a Global and National level. Prior to his new role as Director of Global Accounts, Kilgore held the position of Managing Director of Enterprise Sales.

Mary Jensby has been hired by RFI Communications & Security Systems to fill the position of Call Center Director. Jensby joins RFI Communications with vast experience and active involvement in the industry, serving on half a dozen committees and working with the False Alarm Reduction Association. She is also a member of the California Alarm Association and the Mission 500 Organization, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving children and communities in crisis. At ISC West 2012, the Mission 500 awarded Jensby with the Humanitarian Award, which recognizes individuals in the industry who make important contributions to those in need.

David Lee James has been hired by RFI Communications & Security Systems as the new Business Development Representative. He will be based out of the San Jose, Calif., Central Station Control Center office. James’ responsibilities in his new position include increasing RMR through various partner and dealer programs, services and business solutions. He will also be responsible for third party UL monitoring, commercial and residential sales, and generating new RMR revenue streams within the company. He joins RFI Communications with more than 26 years of experience in the industry and has served as a board member of the Silicon Valley Alarm Association, a division of the California Alarm Association, for the past 15 years.

Carolyn Green has joined RFI Communications & Security Systems as Senior Supervisor of the company’s Central Station Control Center. In this position Green will be working to create, develop, and implement ongoing training programs for the central station staff. Other responsibilities include assistance with the hiring of new central station staff, attendance management, customer care, and updating of dealer insurance and licensing. She comes to RFI Communications with more than 30 years of customer service experience.

D/A Central, Inc., Oak Park, Mich. – Matt Eason has been hired by D/A Central as an Installation Technician. In this position Eason will be responsible for the installation of access control, video and alarm systems. He joins the company with experience in working with large-scale video surveillance systems for the Department of Homeland Security board control. He will be working out of the D/A Central’s Oak Park office.

The Protection Bureau, Exton, Pa. – Laura Mataraza joined The Protection Bureau in September as the company’s newest Central Station Operator at its monitoring center in Exton, Pa. As a Central Station Operator, Mataraza will respond to alarms and provide dispatching support. She will also assist clients with testing their systems and troubleshooting alarm issues before generating a service ticket.
