IndigoVision Appointed a New Canadian Sales Director

IndigoVision is delighted to announce the addition of Sean Thompson as Canadian Sales Director.

Sean was previously responsible as a Security Specialist at Anixter, Canada where he was top performing sales manager from 2007 to 2012, generating Anixter Canada’s highest sales for Axis Communications products between 2007 and 2011.

“It has been fantastic to bring Sean on-board to the Canadian sales team” stated Marcus Kneen, IndigoVision CEO. “The Canadian market is a discerning, early adopter of advanced technology and some of our most prestigious installations are in Canada. Although early technology adopters, we find Canadian’s demand high technical integrity. Many of IndigoVision’s advanced features have come from direct feedback from Canadian partners, consultants and end users. Getting the right person for Canada was therefore key. “

Sean Thompson continued, “I feel honored to join such a prestigious company as IndigoVision. When I saw what IndigoVision is bringing to market over the coming months, it really was a no-brainer joining - especially compared to other competing IP CCTV technologies. I’m really excited about showing our Canadian customers what incredible, new technology IndigoVision has coming out!”

Marcus added, “We wanted to find the right caliber of person for IndigoVision and our Canadian customers. When we started our search, we received great feedback on Sean from the Canadian market. We weren’t surprised when Sean scored incredibly high on our stringent sales interview assessment.” Marcus concluded, “I really believe that Sean is going to be a great addition for IndigoVision and most importantly, our Canadian customers. “

IndigoVision won its first Canadian project in 2003 and has since won further prestigious projects including the Canadian-US border crossing and several large scale projects in Vancouver around the 2010 Winter Olympics.
