The Security Industry Association (SIA) has selected John E. Mack III for its 2026 George R. Lippert Memorial Award, recognizing his years of involvement in the association and security industry.

Mack, a managing director who co-leads security and safety investment banking at Raymond James, will receive the award during the association’s Securing New Ground conference in New York, Oct. 20-21.

According to SIA, Mack proposed its endowment program and served as its chair. His association roles have also included board membership, an Executive Committee position and service as treasurer.

The endowment has supported workforce development, school security, startups and programs for women and veterans working in security.

Before joining Raymond James, Mack held investment banking leadership positions at Imperial Capital and founded USBX. He also served as CEO of Protection One.

Named for an industry volunteer, the annual award recognizes sustained contributions, leadership and professional integrity.
