Security Net Member Companies Announce New Hires and PromotionsSecurity-Net, a global provider of security integration services, is pleased to announce a host of new hires and a promotion from within its 19 North American member companies.

Following are recent announcements from systems integrators Koorsen Security Technology, Future Security Controls, Inc., Operational Security Systems, Inc., The Protection Bureau, Firstline Security Systems, Inc. and Security Control Systems, Inc. The announcements range from the appointment of a new Sales Support Engineer to Service Technicians and an Administrative Assistant.

The Protection Bureau, Exton, Pa.
Angee Conrad has joined The Protection Bureau as its new Installation Coordinator. In this position, Conrad will be responsible for tracking and closing various jobs while working closely with project managers, serving as a liaison between clients and management. Conrad comes to The Protection Bureau with a background in the healthcare field and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in marketing management.

The Protection Bureau, Exton, Pa.
Robin Tomosky has been hired by The Protection Bureau as an Accounts Receivable Specialist where she will be responsible for accounts receivables, collections and will work closely with the company’s accounting staff and chief financial officer. Tomosky joins The Protection Bureau with a Master’s in business administration from St. Joseph’s University. She has previous experience working in finance, management, accounts payable, accounts receivable and invoicing.

Koorsen Security Technology, Indianapolis, Ind.
Carrie Seybert has been hired by Koorsen Security Technology as the company’s new Service Coordinator. In this position, Seybert will be responsible for coordinating with the service technicians to ensure quality service to Koorsen’s customers. She joins Koorsen with more than 13 years of customer service experience and a background in the security industry.

JD Gordon also joins Koorsen Security Technology as a Service Technician. As a service technician, Gordon will be responsible for the installation of new security systems, along with the repair and replacement of existing systems. Gordon comes to Koorsen with more than 14 years of experience in the cellular telecommunications industry where he held various positions including technician, engineer and technical service manager. 

Mark Meals comes to Koorsen Security Technology as the company’s new Sales Support Engineer. In this role, Meals will assist the sales department with the engineering of new systems and all system upgrades. Meals has worked in systems integration for 19 years, installing, estimating and engineering access, intrusion and video surveillance systems. He holds certifications for numerous security solutions and companies, including DSX, CASI, Software House, GE, Infographics and Vicon.

Mike Weber has been hired by Koorsen Security Technology as a Service Technician. He has more than 23 years of experience in the electronics industry and more than 15 years in security. Weber brings extensive experience working with security systems in airports as well as in the healthcare field. Weber is certified on a variety of products, including DSX, CASI, Software House, Infograpics, GE and Vicon. In this position, Weber will be responsible for the installation, repair and replacement of security systems.

Tiffany Jordan has been hired by Koorsen Security Technology to fill the position of Project Coordinator where she will assist project managers with the administration of new installations and customer upgrades. Jordan joins the company with more than 10 years of experience in administration. Most recently she worked as a Service and Monitoring Coordinator for Sentinel Alarm Systems.

Firstline Security Systems, Inc., Anaheim, Calif.
Mike McCosh has joined Firstline Security Systems as its new Financial Controller, a new position created to guide the current and future expansion of the company. McCosh has more than 15 years of financial experience with a background in the construction and hotel management industries.

Future Security Controls, Inc., Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
Andy Jespersen has been hired by Future Security Controls, Inc., to fill the position of Electronic Technician/Security Systems Integrator. In this position, Jespersen’s primary responsibility will include the installation of integrated security systems such as CCTV, access control, intercom and alarm systems. Jespersen has been in the security industry for more than five years. He is currently certified by more than 10 security product manufacturers. Jespersen has a background in information technology and has previously been employed as a network analyst and software developer.

Operational Security Systems, Inc., Atlanta, Ga.
Ross Westermann has been hired by Operational Security Systems, Inc. to fill the position of Assistant Site Superintendent. In this role, Westermann will work with the Site Superintendent and Project Manager in the supervision of various installation projects. Westermann joined the company through the Georgia Tech Cooperative Program and was offered his current position after graduating.

Kamaria Georgia has joined Operational Security Systems as an Administrative Assistant. In this role ,Georgia will assist in the various administrative tasks, contributing to the productivity and overall success of the company.

Security Control Systems, Inc., Houston, Texas
Brent Balkcom has joined Security Control Systems as the new Operations Manager. He comes to the company with more than 14 years of experience in electronic security, having earned his initial training the in U.S. Navy. He holds a BA in electronic engineering technology and is currently finishing a Master’s degree in project management. Balkcom also holds certifications in Software House CCURE 800/8000, CCURE 9000, AMAG, Lenel, NICE, and FC Wnx. In his new position, he will be responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity and efficiency of departmental and organizational operations.

Robert White has recently been hired by Security Control Systems as a Project Specialist. In this position, White will work alongside the Project and Operation Managers on the installation and project field coordination. He will be responsible for implementing schedules, direction and progress. White brings with him more than 15 years of experience in the integrated electronic access control field and certifications in Software House CCURE 800/8000 and 9000 security management systems.

Dean Wood has joined Security Control Systems as a new Project Manager. In this position, Wood will be working as the manager on installation assignments and is responsible for project field coordination. Wood has worked in the electronic security, CCTV and access control industry for more than 25 years working on the installation of security systems at several major campuses throughout Texas. Wood is certified in Software House CCURE 800/8000, Lenel, DVTel (Longitude and Latitude), NICE, Zenitel, and CPR/First Aid. He received his electronics training in the U.S. Navy.
