LILIN Expands IP Portfolio with HD Video Decoder

LILIN Americas, an entity of IP video provider Merit LILIN serving North, Central and South America, has introduced an affordable, simple monitoring solution for displaying live video from up to four IP cameras without a PC or NVR: the VD022 HD four-channel IP video decoder with Virtual Matrix functionality.

Offering the latest in digital video surveillance, the VD022 can also remotely playback video from LILIN brand NVR's of up to 16 channels or DVR's via a TCP/IP network to form a video wall, giving LILIN customers the biggest return on their investment in network infrastructure.

The VD022 decodes full 1080P video at up to 30FPS at a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 on one HD monitor or in standard resolution in Quad-View. An automated installation wizard speeds up commissioning by quickly identifying and storing camera IP addresses in a database while importing a preview thumbnail of each channel. The Virtual Matrix functionality can be controlled by the included IR remote control, optional keyboard, web interface or touch screen monitor with a "pinch and zoom" Smartphone-like interface that makes navigating the system and changing the displayed IP video streams easy.

The LILIN VD022 provides several methods to export video including USB flash drive

and HTTP downloads playable via its Backup Manager. In addition, extensive support for iPhone, iPad and Android allows for remote viewing of the connected cameras on a Smartphone, tablet or PC. Browser-based remote live monitoring and video playback features are also supported.
