Hard Rock Reports Security Breach

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas has said hackers may have access to information about credit or debit cards used at certain retail and service locations, according to a report.

 

“The trust and loyalty of our customers is our highest priority, which is why, as a precautionary measure, we are writing to let you know of a security incident that may have affected your credit card information,” said Jody Lake, chief operating officer for Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, in a statement on its website.

 

The information potentially affected includes names, card numbers and CVV codes, but does not include PIN numbers and other sensitive information. The attack was limited to transactions between Sept. 3 and April 2 at multiple locations at the Las Vegas property, including the Culinary Dropout Restaurant.
