Upscale Panama City Property Using ASSA ABLOY Hospitality

The Las Americas Golden Tower in Panama City will secure its guestrooms with products by ASSA ABLOY Hospitality, the company announced in a press release. The property is scheduled to open in January 2016, with VingCard Signature RFID door locks and Elsafe Sentinel electronic safes in all rooms and suites.

The VingCard Signature RFID lets guests and staff members gain access to assigned rooms by tapping the keycard on the door’s RFID reader. The VingCard Visionline allows locks to communicate with the property’s server via a radio frequency, letting staff members extend hotel stays or re-assing keycards to other guestrooms.

"As a property designed to offer the best in luxury and comfort, we understand the critical importance of providing guests with a secure environment, in order to guarantee an uninterrupted first-rate experience," said Fernando Araujo, Project Manager at Las Americas Golden Tower. "In selecting ASSA ABLOY Hospitality to implement an effective security access solution, the company's extensive expertise and capacity to provide efficient service was a substantial consideration."
