Live From GSX: Wrap Up

Live From GSX: Wrap Up

Tradeshows are always better when you’ve had some time to leave the city they are hosted in, get back to your desk, pour over the collected business cards and start applying the things your learned and thinking about the things you saw during your time on the show floor. Well, at least they are for me!

The wonderful thing about our Live From GSX social zoneis that it stays up for an extra two weeks after the show floor has closed. That way you get the opportunity to go back to check out what you might have missed. The social zone is a great way to engage with those who exhibited at the show as well as refresh your brain as to what you might have seen. Check it out now at securitytoday.com/live.

This year, the sponsors for our Live From GSX program was STANLEY Security, Salient and Open Options. These companies were instrumental in bringing our audiences the most relevant and exciting content throughout the show. So, we thank our sponsors and give our readers a little look back on how the show went for them.

STANLEY Security

STANLEY Security found a fast home in booth 2417 at GSX in Las Vegas this year. The bright yellow and black booth had a steady stream of onlookers from the moment the tradeshow doors opened at 10 AM on the first day of the show. This is no surprise when you time the time to understand all of the different solutions at the booth.

STANLEY Security focused their presence at GSX 2018 on cutting-edge security technology. The company highlighted multiple software platforms that support physical security systems, including STANLEY IntelAssure (for improved service-assurance) and STANLEY Insights (for security data analytics). They also featured Shooter Detection Systems, the industry’s most advanced indoor active-shooter detection and alerting solution. These three solutions, and many others that were demonstrated to both Security and IT professionals, support the ongoing goal of “Securing Today for a Safer Tomorrow."

I think it is easy to say STANLEY Security had a great show. To learn more about their solutions, visit stanelysecuritysolutions.com.

Salient

Salient is not hard to lose in the big crowd of security companies exhibiting at the GSX show. You can feel the vibes and the welcoming smiles from halfway down the aisle. The company focuses on making intelligent VMS software, but you know that their creations and innovations mean more to them than just rolling out new software, it’s their passion to help their end users and it shows.

CompleteView 20/20, Salient's next-generation video management platform, represents Salient’s latest passionate innovation. CompleteView 20/20 offers a simple, scalable, and secure solution through its intuitive, unified UX across all platforms. Powerful tools share configuration data across all recording servers and configure and manage systems faster with advanced centralized data management. Offering superior mobile apps and 3rd party integrations, the Salient Security Platform is raising the bar for video management performance.

Salient is a one of a kind company. Don’t miss your chance to learn more about them at salientsys.com.

Open Options

Talk about good people. Open Options is a company that truly places their customers and clients in the number one priority spot. So much so, in fact, that they decided not to exhibit at GSX this year and instead return the dollars to their customers. They approached this decision with hesitation, but ultimately decided that investing in their end users was the obvious path.

Even though Open Options was missing from the exhibitor line up, they were not at all forgotten. Their popular open-platform solution, DNA Fusion, was on the top of attendees’ minds as they visited the booths of Open Options’ partners such as Traka, ASSA ABLOY, Schlage, Vingtor-Stentofon and more.
