Paxton Launches New Video Intercom (Entry) App

Paxton Access, the international security technology manufacturer, officially launches the highly anticipated video intercom mobile app, Paxton Entry. The brand-new app is available on the market as of October 2.

Using the Paxton Entry app, users can answer video calls from their smartphone or tablet. With a simple screen tap, users can see and speak to visitors, and grant or deny access from anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

The Paxton Entry app requires a low-cost monthly user license fee, offering Paxton installers the opportunity to generate regular recurring revenue for the first time, from any new and existing Paxton intercom installations. Installers can manage multiple Paxton Entry app sites and users via the new myPaxton portal, a cloud-based platform, providing them the ultimate convenience of simple online management.

The newly launched mobile app is compatible with existing Paxton Entry sites with no additional installation or disruption. Users can either utilize Paxton’s Entry monitors and the app together or simply use the Paxton Entry app without a monitor. The app offers Paxton installers a cost-effective intercom solution to match their customers’ requirement.

Gareth O’Hara, Paxton’s Chief Sales Officer, said: “The Paxton Entry app is a new, exciting addition to our Paxton product line. The app is designed with simplicity in mind, offering an easy-to-install and simple-to-use intercom mobile app alongside our existing Entry product line.

“This is the first time Paxton installers have the opportunity to generate recurring revenue with our products. We are committed to helping our customers grow their business and continuously developing innovative security products for a variety of sites.”
