DSI Security Services Announces Promotions of George Plaza and Rich Hunter

DSI Security Services is pleased to announce two leadership promotions that reinforce the company’s continued investment in operational excellence, training, and compliance.

George Plaza has been promoted to National Training and Compliance Manager. Plaza most recently served as Jacksonville Branch Manager, where he led branch operations and supported client satisfaction, employee development, and performance standards. In his new role, Plaza will help strengthen DSI’s nationwide consistency in training, regulatory readiness, and compliance practices across all service lines.

Rich Hunter has been promoted to Vice President of Operations, South Division. Hunter previously served as a Regional Manager in Florida, overseeing multi-site operations and driving performance across a broad footprint. As VP of Operations, South Division, Hunter will lead operational strategy and execution across the division, supporting teams and clients with a focus on service quality, accountability, and scalable growth.

“George and Rich have both earned the trust of their teams and our clients through consistent leadership and an unwavering commitment to doing things the right way,” said Eddie Sorrells, CEO of DSI Security Services. “At DSI, we’re proud to have one of the longest-tenured executive leadership teams in the security industry, and these promotions further build on that strength. One of the biggest factors in making these types of decisions is ensuring we continue to grow with experienced leaders who understand our culture, our standards, and the needs of our customers.”
