Bell Cyber Launches CyberShield Connect

Managed security service uses WatchGuard technology to provide enterprise-grade protection for Canadian small and medium businesses.

Bell Cyber announced the launch of CyberShield Connect, a fully managed cybersecurity solution designed for Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises.

The service, powered by the WatchGuard Unified Security Platform, aims to provide enterprise-grade protection to smaller organizations by removing the operational complexity of managing in-house security.

CyberShield Connect integrates cloud-managed security, automated deployment and security operations center monitoring. The solution features zero-touch onboarding and automated provisioning to allow for rapid deployment across single or multi-site business environments.

Operated by Bell Cyber’s Canadian-based managed security services team, the solution provides monitoring and threat response through the company's national network. This structure is intended to support Canadian data residency and privacy requirements.

"Cyber resilience today is less about deploying more tools and more about having the team with the right expertise operating them continuously," said John Menezes, president of Bell Cyber. "With CyberShield Connect, we're applying Bell Cyber's managed security experience and national infrastructure to help Canadian SMEs achieve enterprise-level protection."

Joe Smolarski, CEO of WatchGuard, said the partnership combines WatchGuard’s AI-powered platform with Bell Cyber’s managed services. He noted the system is built on zero-trust principles to defend against sophisticated threats.
