Genetec Honors USA East Region Channel Partner

Integrator recognition highlights regional sales growth and technical certification excellence across the physical security portfolio.

Minuteman Security & Life Safety has been named the Genetec 2025 Channel Partner Award winner for the USA East Region. The award recognizes regional sales performance, year-over-year growth and customer service across the Genetec portfolio.

The recognition follows a period of expansion for the integrator, which emphasizes technical expertise through the Genetec University certification program and active engagement within the Genetec ecosystem.

"Our partnership with Genetec has been instrumental in helping us deliver powerful, scalable security solutions for our customers," said Ron Oetjen, CEO of Minuteman Security & Life Safety. "This recognition reflects the collaboration between the Minuteman and Genetec teams and the trust our customers place in us jointly to design and deploy solutions."

The Genetec Channel Partner Awards honor North American partners for innovation and excellence in the deployment of physical security and intelligence solutions. Selection criteria include sales performance, customer satisfaction and technical proficiency.

Alain Bissada, area vice president of sales for North America at Genetec Inc., said the winners demonstrate the results of combining expertise with commitment.

"They’ve delivered measurable growth, built stronger customer relationships and provided thoughtful security solutions that meet the complex needs of today’s operations," Bissada said. "Their leadership continues to elevate the standard for excellence across our network."

Based in Andover, Minuteman provides integrated security and life safety solutions throughout North America.

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
