TMT Insights Appoints New Executive Leadership Team

The media consultancy expands its commercial and engineering ranks to drive global growth and technological innovation.

TMT Insights has announced a series of strategic leadership appointments aimed at accelerating the company's expansion into adjacent markets and strengthening its position within the media and entertainment sector.

The firm is expanding its commercial leadership to drive revenue and partnership opportunities. Ian McPherson joins as head of business development to lead partnership strategies and go-to-market expansion. McPherson previously served as the lead for global business development strategy for media and entertainment at Amazon Web Services.

Joining the commercial team is Manish Bahl, who will serve as head of strategic accounts for the Americas. Bahl brings two decades of experience from leadership roles at Amagi and Endeavor Streaming, focusing on scaling global streaming operations and executive client engagement.

In addition to commercial growth, TMT Insights is restructuring its technical leadership to meet increasing industry demand. Brett Beers, who has led the company’s delivery engineering since its inception, has been named chief architect and innovation officer. Beers will oversee the technical vision for the company’s core offerings, including Polaris and Focus, while spearheading initiatives in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.

Dan Lloyd joins the organization as senior vice president of delivery engineering. Lloyd, who has held leadership positions at Pluto TV and Paramount, will manage the global engineering organization with a focus on scalability and platform development.

These appointments are intended to bolster the company’s ability to execute digital transformations across the media, sports, gaming, and advertising landscapes.
