Allied Universal Executive Named to Hall of Fame

Retired Maj. Gen. William J. Walker honored for distinguished military and federal law enforcement career.

Allied Universal’s chief security officer has been inducted into the Government Executive 2026 Hall of Fame.

Retired Maj. Gen. William J. Walker was recognized for a career spanning more than 30 years in public service and national security. The annual honor from GovExec highlights individuals whose contributions have significantly impacted the U.S. government.

Walker’s career includes high-level leadership roles within the Drug Enforcement Administration, the U.S. Army and the National Guard. He also served as the 38th Sergeant at Arms for the U.S. House of Representatives, where he became the first African American to hold the position.

As chief security officer for Allied Universal, Walker now oversees security operations for the global facility services firm.

The Government Executive Hall of Fame is managed by GovExec, a digital news source focused on the operations and management of the federal government.
