Call for Speakers Opens for AcceleRISE 2026

Emerging leaders in the security industry are invited to submit presentation proposals for the August conference in San Diego.

The SIA has announced the call for speakers for AcceleRISE 2026, a leadership conference tailored for young professionals and emerging talent. The event is scheduled to take place Aug. 3–5 in San Diego.

Organized by the SIA RISE community, the conference aims to bring together the next generation of security experts to discuss the challenges and perspectives shaping the future of the industry. The program focuses on real-world experiences and professional growth rather than product-specific marketing.

Organizers are seeking speakers who can provide fresh insights into security strategy, operational design and business leadership. Selected sessions will highlight how security is implemented and managed, focusing on topics such as policy regulation, industry ethics and foundational skill building.

The association has specified that all proposals should prioritize industry insight over product promotion. Areas of interest for this year’s agenda include:

  • End-user perspectives and real-world applications
  • The intersection of security and business strategy
  • Leadership development and industry responsibility
  • Future trends in security technology

The deadline for speaking proposals is Tuesday, May 12.

Registration for the three-day event is currently open. Early bird pricing is available through April 30, with additional discounts offered to association members. The conference is supported by industry sponsors including Axis Communications, Securitas Technology and Genetec.
