ADI Brings Cloud Storage Solution to UK and Ireland

The expansion provides security integrators with a scalable hybrid option for managing increasing video data volumes across Europe.

Security and low-voltage distributor ADI has launched its cloud storage service in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The expansion marks the latest phase of the company’s European growth strategy, targeting the rising data demands of modern surveillance environments.

The solution, powered by Wasabi, allows integrators to bridge existing video management systems with cloud-based capacity. This hybrid model maintains local storage for immediate playback while offloading long-term archives and disaster recovery data to the cloud. The move is designed to eliminate the need for costly hardware replacements as camera resolutions and retention requirements increase.

By integrating directly with major VMS platforms, the service allows users to retrieve and manage footage through their existing interfaces. The system is specifically engineered for retail, logistics and corporate campus environments that require extended retention periods and off-site protection for critical video assets.

The service is sold through multi-year subscription models, providing a pathway for integrators to establish recurring revenue streams. The partnership with Wasabi offers a flat pricing structure, removing common industry hurdles such as egress fees or charges for API requests.

Following the UK and Ireland launch, ADI plans to extend the service to the Netherlands, Belgium and the Nordic regions later this year.
