Interface Systems to Debut Car Wash AI Solutions

New security tools from Interface Systems aim to help operators mitigate theft and manage liability through autonomous remote monitoring.

AI-driven security and video intelligence tools designed specifically for car wash operators will be on display at The Car Wash Show 2026. Interface Systems will host live demonstrations at the Music City Center from May 11–13, focusing on technologies that address after-hours trespassing and contested insurance claims.

The company will feature its Virtual Perimeter Guard, an autonomous detection system that identifies unauthorized persons or vehicles in restricted zones during overnight hours. The technology uses automated voice-down warnings and strobe lights to deter intruders. If a threat continues, the system alerts intervention specialists at a remote security operations center who can coordinate with local law enforcement.

According to company data, this layered intervention approach resolves 96% of perimeter threats without requiring a police dispatch.

In addition to perimeter security, the company will demonstrate its Video Analytics platform. This technology tracks the customer journey from entry to exit, documenting vehicle conditions and tunnel throughput. By capturing timestamped footage at entry points, vacuum stations and throughout the wash tunnel, operators can better defend against slip-and-fall, collision or pre-existing vehicle damage claims.

The technology is designed to integrate with existing camera hardware, allowing multi-site operators to standardize security and video intelligence across various locations. This centralized approach aims to reduce the complexity often found in businesses growing through acquisition, where legacy hardware and fragmented networks are common.

Managed network and voice solutions will also be part of the presentation, providing a singular platform for operational connectivity. Visitors to booth 3027 can view live walkthroughs of the AI integrations and remote monitoring capabilities.
