Inter-Con Security Names New Chief People Officer

David Oken will lead global talent acquisition and retention strategies following a period of significant company growth.

Inter-Con Security has promoted David Oken to the role of chief people officer, where he will oversee talent acquisition and retention strategy for the company’s global workforce.

Oken joined the Pasadena-based security firm in 2021 as vice president of corporate talent. During his tenure, he held several positions of increasing responsibility before being named to the executive leadership team. His rise within the company occurred during one of the most significant growth periods in the organization's history.

In his new capacity, Oken is responsible for the internal infrastructure that supports the company’s employees across its international operations.

Before joining Inter-Con, Oken served as director of client services at the talent solution and recruiting firm Vaco. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of San Diego and is a graduate of the UCLA Anderson Executive Education program.
