TagMaster North America Marks Two Decades of Vehicle Identification Innovation

The security and parking technology provider is expanding its focus beyond hardware toward integrated software and connected intelligence solutions.

A Pacific Northwest vehicle identification technology provider is celebrating its 20th anniversary by shifting its focus toward broader software and connected intelligence solutions.

Founded in 2006 by Ali Khaksar, TagMaster North America Inc. initially specialized in long-range radio-frequency identification solutions designed for automated vehicle access. Over the past two decades, the Tacoma-based company expanded its portfolio to include license plate recognition cameras, centralized management software and operational visibility tools.

The company's technology is primarily utilized across the parking, access control, enforcement, security and mobility industries to track and manage vehicle activity.

According to corporate leadership, the next phase of operations will emphasize expanding how organizations monitor and analyze vehicle data. Future developments will focus on integrating hardware with cloud-based software platforms to give security and parking operators greater control and reporting capabilities.
