Allied Universal CEO Appointed to University Board

Steve Jones joins the University of Redlands Board of Trustees to help guide the institution's strategic direction.

The global chairman and chief executive officer of Allied Universal has joined the University of Redlands Board of Trustees.

Steve Jones, an alumnus of the university, will help oversee the institution's fiduciary responsibility, strategic direction and long-term success. Jones leads the world’s largest security and facility services provider, which maintains operations in more than 100 countries and territories with approximately 800,000 employees globally.

Jones joined Universal Protection Services in 1996. Under his leadership, the firm grew from a local $12 million Orange County operation into a global corporation generating approximately $23 billion in annual revenue through organic growth and strategic acquisitions.

In addition to his corporate role, Jones is an author and speaker who works with philanthropic initiatives focused on leadership development, community impact and combating human trafficking. He earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Redlands and holds an honorary doctorate of humane letters from the school.
