Synectics Launches Automated Casino Camera Verification

New software allows casino operators to inspect thousands of surveillance cameras simultaneously to accelerate outage recovery.

Casino operators can now verify the functionality of thousands of surveillance cameras simultaneously following the global launch of a new automation software.

The tool, named Scene Check, was developed by security technology firm Synectics to eliminate the highly manual process of inspecting individual video feeds. The software automatically detects camera failures, lens obstructions, tampering, blur and misalignment across gaming floors and cash-handling areas.

During a recent deployment at a major integrated casino resort, the software was used to validate surveillance coverage immediately after a power outage. Security teams used the automated system to verify camera readiness, which allowed the resort to reopen its closed gaming area faster than standard manual inspections would permit.

In addition to system recovery, the software generates auditable activity records to assist operators with internal and regulatory compliance reviews. The system is designed for large-scale environments where continuous surveillance coverage is legally mandated for operational continuity.
