Physical security software provider HiveWatch announced the appointment of Dinesh Coca as General Manager and Senior Vice President of Product and Engineering alongside a new suite of platform capabilities designed to streamline Security Operations Center workflows.
Coca brings more than two decades of technology scaling experience to the position. His previous roles include leadership positions at Medallia, BigPanda and Motive. In his new role, Coca will oversee product strategy, platform engineering and customer-driven product development, with a focus on expanding the platform’s artificial intelligence capabilities.
Alongside the executive appointment, the company introduced AI Operator Communicate, an automated capability designed to manage and route incoming non-emergency phone calls to security operations centers. The system uses customizable decision trees based on an organization’s standard operating procedures to process calls, support multilingual communication in more than 40 languages and log transcripts for audit trails. Emergency calls are automatically escalated to human operators.
The call triage capability is currently undergoing beta testing with a major U.S. telecommunications company to manage high-volume inbound communications.
Additional platform updates include program recommendation tools designed to identify recurring hardware and configuration issues, configurable dynamic workflows and email alert ingestion for legacy hardware systems lacking standard API connectivity.
The company also expanded its integration network through partnerships with Acre Security, Arcules Video Surveillance-as-a-Service and Lumana. The integrations allow security teams to centralize access control events, cloud video feeds and video analytics within a single platform interface.
The new software features and technology integrations will be demonstrated at the GSX conference in Atlanta.
