Zscaler Launches Agentic SOC Platform For Threat Detection and Response

The platform incorporates AI models from Anthropic and OpenAI with Zscaler threat intelligence and telemetry.

A new security operations center (SOC) platform from Zscaler uses AI agents to analyze cyberthreats and initiate response workflows, according to a press release from the company.

Zscaler Agentic SOC combines the company’s zero trust telemetry with a decoy mesh network and information from customers’ third-party security tools. Zscaler said its telemetry covers 750 billion transactions daily. A context graph correlates the information to map incident chains and identify risks for investigation.

The agents perform triage and root-cause investigations, assign verdicts and initiate response workflows. Zscaler said the platform’s controls can isolate compromised users, block command-and-control traffic, and restrict lateral movement across a network.
