OculusIT Adds Seceon Tools to Campus Cybersecurity Service
Automated detection and response will support a security operations center serving colleges and universities.

OculusIT has added Seceon’s threat detection and response platform to its security operations center service for colleges and universities.
OculusIT analysts will use Seceon’s platform to monitor activity across networks, devices, identities, cloud services and applications. According to the companies, the platform correlates security events, prioritizes alerts and uses automated playbooks for automated threat response.
The expanded service also includes compliance monitoring and reporting tools designed to track requirements relevant to higher education, including FERPA and GLBA, among others.
