Texas Energy Grid Hires Constellis for Site Security

A new AI-focused power campus near Amarillo selected a risk management firm to supply 24/7 access control and smart monitoring.

Physical security operations at a new Texas energy campus will be managed by a global risk management provider following a recent agreement.

Under the contract, Constellis will deploy security personnel, conduct static and mobile patrols and control site entry for Project Matador at Fermi America’s campus near Amarillo, Texas. The facility operates as a next-generation private power grid designed to feed high-demand artificial intelligence data hubs using a combination of natural gas, nuclear and solar power.

Operations will pair onsite security officers with the company's proprietary software platform, LEXSO. The technology unifies physical campus sensors with artificial intelligence analytics to consolidate real-time monitoring.

By processing large volumes of sensor data in real time, the platform aims to cut down on false alarms and streamline physical response efforts for officers on site.
