Camera Concept Wins Red Dot Design Award

i-PRO received Best of the Best recognition for a camera concept designed to fit into architectural and interior settings.

A security camera concept intended to blend into building interiors has earned Best of the Best recognition in the Red Dot Award’s Design Concept competition.

The company’s Spatial Integration Camera places the camera unit inside its housing, departing from the appearance of conventional surveillance equipment. The design draws on how lighting fixtures and other architectural features are incorporated into a room.

The concept addresses settings where visible security equipment can affect the appearance of a space, including museums, hotels and upscale retail stores. According to the company, the approach aims to accommodate interior design priorities while preserving professional surveillance functions.

The recognition falls within Red Dot’s category for concepts and prototypes, which evaluates ideas for potential products and services. The award recognizes the camera concept rather than announcing a commercial product release.
