LaserCard Corporation has received an order of approximately $8.6 million for optical security media cards to be issued under the Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) program. Delivery is scheduled for completion in August.
A critical element of protecting troops in the field of battle is proper identity management. A military installation in the Middle East, for example, must ensure that only authorized personnel can enter the camp. For soldiers, losing an access card to an enemy could be disastrous.
