For banks to be successful, they must be secure -- and their customers and partners must have confidence in their security. Banks face real and serious threats, especially from theft. Employee theft is a serious problem. In the United States alone, losses from employee theft total $1 billion annually, which exceeds any amount stolen by common bank robbers.

ADT Security has won the contract to provide the access control and video surveillance security systems to the new terminal 3 in Indira Gandhi International Airport, slated to open in March 2010.
Since the Hojstrup Housing Association in the Danish city of Vollsmose installed Milestone video surveillance in the spring of 2008, the costs of vandalism have fallen 36 percent. It has created better security for the residents and more money to make improvements for youth activities.
Vandalism, theft and acts of terrorism in recent years have motivated the electric generation and transmission industry to seek viable security solutions. Companies must secure their facilities and protect their physical and electronic assets while managing access to their properties state-to-state over geographically widespread regions.

IndigoVision’s complete IP security system is providing an advanced wireless surveillance solution for San Borja, Peru, which was deployed as part of the recent APEC summit. San Borja is primarily a middle-class district of the country’s capital, Lima, covering an area of 4 square miles and with a population of more than 100,000. The system was installed in advance of the annual meeting of the 21 members of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), which met in Lima in November.
