Honeywell’s 5870API wireless asset protection sensor guards against theft in both residential and commercial applications. The device enables sensors to transmit signals that detect movement when the panel is disarmed and employs an accelerometer to recognize movement. Dealers can program the sensors to send alarm signals to security panels, alerting guards and other security personnel or central stations when a protected object is moved.
