PERMALIGHT® photoluminescent egress path markings obtained their UL1994-listing from Underwriters Laboratories for activation by LED (Light Emitting Diode) and Fluorescent lighting. The NON-electrical, NON-radioactive low location-installed markings are energy-efficient, as they work without electricity. The markings are code-required nationwide in high-rise occupancy emergency staircases to guide building occupants down and out to safety during power outages, building fires with smoke or simply at night. PERMALIGHT® offers the full system: metal stair nosing, anti-slip step edges, perimeter demarcation lines, safety signage, obstacle markings and more.
