Because access control, video surveillance, biometrics and other security applications have to work together to provide a comprehensive security solution, the ability to use features from each component — without having to toggle between software applications — is key. FLEX API (Application Programming Interface), an easy-to-use mechanism for developing third-party interfaces to Open Options’ powerful access control software. Via FLEX API and the ACM Plugin, users can access DNA Fusion from Milestone Systems’ XProtect®  Smart Client. Other supported integrations include the AlertEnterprise PSIM, Suprema Biometrics, and Morpho Biometrics.
