Orsus, Adesta Offer Situation Management Presentation Thursday

Orsus recently announced a strategic partnership with Adesta LLC, a systems integrator and project management company for communication networks and electrical security systems.

The alliance between the two companies began last year and combines Orsus’ security and safety Situation Management software, Situator, with Adesta’s systems integration expertise. Adesta is known as one of the leading systems integrators in the security market, completing over 800 electronic security systems in the United States, Europe, Asia, Central America and the Middle East.

Since the alliance began, Orsus and Adesta have implemented several projects together, including a project involving American Electric Power, one of the largest electric utilities in the United States The companies plan to work together to continue to educate the market and offer end-users a software-based solution to manage disparate security systems, such a surveillance, access control systems and sensors, combined with a workflow management solution in the control room.

“Adesta is interested in working with technology partners who are going to be with us 100 percent in the foxhole, so to speak,” said Rob Hile, Vice President, Business Development, Adesta, LLC. “We consider Orsus to be that type of partner. We recognize that command and control situational awareness is the next wave of integrated specialties.”

As part of the alliance, Gal Oron, President Americas, Orsus, will speak together with Hile from Adesta at ISC West.

Their presentation, titled, “Managing the Overload of Information in Control Rooms,” will take place on Thursday from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. The presentation will address why more and more end users are turning to Situation Management systems to enhance security operations, reduce human error, maintain compliance and improve the effectiveness of incident response.
