TimeSight Systems Launches Video Lifecycle Management Portal, Resource Center

TimeSight Systems recently launched its new Web site, http://www.timesightsystems.com. The new portal and resource center is designed to help users, resellers and manufacturers of video surveillance technologies understand the power of VLM in today’s demanding times.

TimeSight Systems is demonstrating the technology that directly addresses the issue of rising storage costs associated with the higher stored resolution and longer retention requirements of video surveillance images, at ISC West booth 8345.

“The ability of VLM to remove the cost barriers of storing all actionable video is critical to eliminating risk in a company’s video surveillance strategy,” said Charles Foley, chairman and CEO of TimeSight Systems. “The new TimeSight website and resource center will assist the industry in keeping up with the latest technology and product advancements as TimeSight Systems continues to evolve its VLM platform with increased price/performance and protection while significantly reducing system payback time to less than a year, as demonstrated by our customers.”

The new TimeSight website and resource center demonstrates how VLM makes high-resolution video surveillance capture and retention an effective and affordable security asset for users by dramatically improving the quality and quantity of valuable video data without sacrificing retention or only storing motion events which leave security gaps.

The use of VLM technology makes it possible to reduce both image size and frame rate over time. With the addition of TimeSight Systems unique Motion Optimized Recording (MORe) feature, specific business retention rules are further applied to both motion and non-motion events by enabling the capture and storage of all video, vs. current motion only recording, lengthening retention time from days to weeks or months for the highest levels of security and compliance.
