Visonic Incorporates PowerMax into Smith & Wesson Security Services

Visonic will incorporate its PowerMax line of wireless alarm systems into the product offering of Smith & Wesson Security Services. The PowerMax products will enable Smith & Wesson Security Services dealers to secure their residential customers with up to 29 zones wirelessly.

Smith & Wesson Security Services selected Visonic's PowerMax system because the technology provides easy user-management of all connected systems, including security and fire alarms. The PowerMax allows remote, mobile, and in-house control of wireless alarm devices and secured zones and is the newest system Smith & Wesson Security Services has added to its extensive line of electronic alarm offerings. It connects seamlessly with a wide range of wireless transmitters and detectors, including door and window contacts, glass-break sensors, pet-immune motion detectors, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, flood sensors, and more.

"We are pleased to announce this agreement with Visonic, which will help to bring high quality wireless security systems into homes across the nation," says Aaron Wahrsager, COO of Smith & Wesson Security Services. "The PowerMax system provides flexibility, ease of use, and quick installation—all without sacrificing one bit of reliability," he adds. "These are the unique advantages that make PowerMax a perfect fit for our Authorized Security Dealers and their customers. Our agreement with Visonic expands our product offering to include a wireless system that is particularly well-suited for mobile or small applications."

Smith & Wesson Security Services dealers can install the PowerMax quickly, making it a cost-efficient, high-performance security solution. "The user-friendly interface makes the system a smart choice for families, homes with children or elderly residents," notes Bill Lyon, President of Visonic Americas. "Residents can also control their system through an easy-to-use remote control." The systems can be linked flawlessly with the Smith & Wesson Security Services 24/7 monitoring station, simultaneously transmitting digital signals along with two-way voice which will allow for verified alarm dispatch.
