Intergraph Now A Cisco Video Surveillance Authorized Technology Partner

Intergraph, a provider of public safety and security solutions, and now a Cisco Video Surveillance Authorized Technology Provider (ATP) Partner, will include Cisco video surveillance systems as part of its integrated security suite to offer advanced, comprehensive video assessment capabilities for the timely and effective response to threats and incidents.

This Cisco designation recognizes Intergraph as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to design, resell, install and maintain a full range of video surveillance and access-control solutions.

Cisco physical-security solutions provide network-centric capabilities to video surveillance, IP cameras and other groundbreaking technologies by converging voice, data and physical security into a single appliance. This enables customers to preserve existing investments in analog-based technology and to use the network as a platform upon which more collaborative and integrated physical-security systems can be built.

As customers converge, physical-security infrastructures and operations and begin using the network as a platform, they gain rapid access to relevant information and increase interoperability with other IP-centric systems. This enables higher levels of situational awareness in environments where intelligent and timely decision making is crucial.

"Security agencies around the world rely on Intergraph's security solutions to ensure an efficient and effective response to threats and incidents through multi-agency and multi-jurisdictional coordination," said John K. Graham, president of Intergraph Security for government and infrastructure. "By achieving this Cisco designation, we can offer our customers a truly integrated, network-based solution that enables the convergence of video, voice, and alarm and sensor data from one or more sites or jurisdictions to meet the growing and evolving needs of security agencies in their quest to protect people and critical assets."

"As we move into new markets and emerging technologies, Cisco Authorized Technology Provider Partners are instrumental in helping our customers turn innovative technology into a competitive advantage," said Steve Benvenuto, director of emerging technologies for worldwide channels at Cisco. "As a Cisco Video Surveillance ATP Partner, Intergraph brings a unique set of skills to potential customers, combining a proven physical-security track record with Cisco expertise."

To qualify for the Video Surveillance ATP Program, Intergraph had to meet a number of requirements, from having staff who fulfill specific job responsibilities to achieving the Cisco Express Foundation Specialization. Those requirements are designed to help a partner maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Intergraph solutions are at work protecting the largest and most complex cities and government sites in the world. One in 12 people in the world is protected by Intergraph public safety and security solutions.

  • The Future is Happening Outside the Cloud

For years, the cloud has captivated the physical security industry. And for good reason. Remote access, elastic scalability and simplified maintenance reshaped how we think about deploying and managing systems. But as the number of cameras grows and resolutions push from HD to 4K and beyond, the cloud’s limits are becoming unavoidable. Bandwidth bottlenecks. Latency lags. Rising storage costs. These are not abstract concerns. Read Now

  • Unlocking Trustworthy AI: Building Transparency in Security Governance

In situations where AI supports important security tasks like leading investigations and detecting threats and anomalies, transparency is essential. When an incident occurs, investigators must trace the logic behind each automated response to confirm its validity or spot errors. Demanding interpretable AI turns opaque “black boxes” into accountable partners that enhance, rather than compromise, organizational defense. Read Now
