Diebold Makes Monitoring Solutions Available To Dealers

Diebold Inc. is expanding its reach through the introduction of the Diebold Advanced Dealer Program.

Created to engage new distribution channels, the Diebold Advanced Dealer Program will enable leading, pre-certified security dealers to leverage Diebold's monitoring services. The program will expand Diebold's North American delivery network at local and regional levels, while enabling select dealers to provide new services to their customers.

Approved dealers will have the opportunity to offer advanced monitoring services without the need to invest in costly infrastructure or additional staff. Diebold Authorized Dealers can leverage Diebold's most sophisticated monitoring solutions, including Site Sentry Remote Video Monitoring, Site Sentry Remote Video Storage, managed access control and energy management.

They'll also have access to Diebold's DVR health check, weather detection notification, police permit management and award-winning alarm monitoring. These solutions will enable end users to enhance security, reduce workforce demands, increase efficiencies and deliver enterprise-wide return on investment.

"The Diebold Advanced Dealer Program is mutually beneficial, providing value to Diebold, dealers and end users," said V. John Stroia, vice president of the government and monitoring solutions for Diebold’s Security division. "It enables us to expand our market reach, while providing dealers with solutions they haven't been able to offer. And end-users will benefit by gaining access to proven monitoring expertise, while maintaining the relationship with their existing security provider."

The Diebold Advanced Dealer Program targets high-end dealers with expertise in IP solutions. Unlike other dealer programs in the security industry, participating dealers won't be required to sell their accounts to Diebold to participate. And the program isn't intended to make existing legacy programs obsolete.

Monitoring solutions will be delivered through Diebold's Monitoring Centers in Uniontown, Ohio, and Honolulu. Diebold monitoring centers are UL-certified, fully redundant, national alarm monitoring centers. Five-Diamond certified by the Central Station Alarm Association (CSAA), Diebold was recognized as the 2007 CSAA Central Station of the Year. Diebold was also named Frost & Sullivan's 2009 North American Monitoring Provider of the Year.

Qualified dealers can apply for the Diebold Advanced Dealer Program through Diebold's exclusive Online Dealer Center at http://www.diebold.com/dealer.
