ioimage Becomes Member Of Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program

ioimage recently announced it has obtained Lenel factory certification for OnGuard 2009 and has become a member of the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.

OnGuard offers advanced access control, alarm monitoring, digital video, intrusion detection, asset tracking, information security integration, credential production, and employee and visitor management functionality.

As a result of this partnership, ioimage intelligent video devices can be seamlessly integrated with OnGuard, offering unique IP video surveillance capabilities. Video from ioimage’s intelligent encoders and cameras viewed through OnGuard’s user interface provides real-time detection, alert and tracking of intruders, vehicles and threats, transforming video surveillance into a proactive, event-driven process.

Membership in the OpenAccess Alliance Program provides ioimage with a framework to utilize OpenAccess, a set of standard APIs enabling integration of participating manufacturers products into Lenel’s Total Security Knowledge Management Solutions.

"ioimage has completed required factory testing at Lenel to validate the functionality of its interface to OnGuard. We look forward to their continued involvement in the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program," said Raffaele Ceravolo, director of strategic alliances for Lenel.

"This partnership underscores our strong commitment to open architecture and to broadening the reach of intelligent video," said Yishai Hartuv, ioimage’s vice president of product management and customer services. "By obtaining Lenel factory certification and becoming a member of its OpenAccess Alliance Program, ioimage can provide easily configurable, highly reliable and cost-effective security solutions to an even wider range of businesses."
