OnSSI Named North American Development Partner Of The Year By Axis Communications

On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc., provider of intelligent IP-based video surveillance and management software, has been recognized as North American Application Development Partner of the Year 2009 by Axis Communications.

Axis presents the award annually to an application partner that best demonstrates a commitment to continuing revenue growth, educating the market and bringing new opportunities for network video solutions.

OnSSI is the developer of the Ocularis suite of IP video management platform solutions, which delivers performance, functionality and scalability to users and enterprises of all size organizations. Through its Application Development Partner (ADP) Program, Axis works with OnSSI to ensure product compatibility and to facilitate integration of Axis network video equipment into reliable and optimized network video management solutions.

“We are pleased to be singled out and recognized by a dominant industry player such as Axis for our efforts to develop open architecture, IP-based systems,” said Mulli Diamant, vice president of sales with OnSSI. “One of the keys to the success of Ocularis is the ability to work with a range of hardware solutions from various suppliers, and this honor from Axis confirms OnSSI's commitment to maximize the availability of best-inclass systems to integrators and end-users.”

“Over the past year, OnSSI has worked closely with the Axis ADP team to ensure that its IP video management platform (Ocularis) integrates seamlessly with our network cameras, providing high performance and ease-of-use for the end-user,” said Fredrik Nilsson, general manager with Axis Communications Inc. “The ADP program was designed to leverage the many great minds and progressive products in the security industry, and OnSSI is an ideal example of the program’s success.”
