Mace Security Products Becomes Exclusive Distributor of SabraFence Perimeter Detection Technology

Mace Security International Inc. recently announced its subsidiary, Mace Security Products Inc., has reached agreement with SabraFence Technologies Ltd. to become the exclusive North American distributor of SabraFence products.

SabraFence Technologies Ltd., based in Israel, provides perimeter detection systems for commercial, private, industrial and governmental applications.

Sabra Fence is a new technology utilizing multiple sensing transducers for perimeter and security systems. Designed as enhanced protection against terrorists, SabraFence provides more accurate and lower cost perimeter detection for commercial and residential applications as well.

Mace’s addition of SabraFence brings another product to the Mace line of security and surveillance systems, providing intrusion and event detection by vibration, temperature and even magnetic triggers. The system is capable of pinpointing events to within a few feet.

“We welcome SabraFence to the Mace family of security products,” said Mace CEO Dennis Raefield. “This high-quality yet affordable technology is a perfect fit to our all-encompassing protection architecture, bringing a perimeter detection and intrusion component to our expanded portfolio of camera systems, DVRs, access control and central monitoring.”

The systems will be available exclusively through Mace in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean and most of Central America. Mace will also distribute the products in Mexico and South America. The product line will include all components necessary to install the systems, from perimeter cable and sensors to central control units. Mace plans to introduce this new technology at FenceTech 2010/Orlando in February and ISC West in March.

"The present global security situation increases the demand for outdoor perimeter security and enhanced protection of critical infrastructure. SabraFence Multi-Sensing Technology (MST) allows the commercial, industrial and private markets access to a cutting edge product to meet this demand." said Arie Kalo, director for Sabra Fence Technologies Ltd. “We are very excited about the opportunity to introduce our new technology through this new Mace partnership. Mace’s excellent brand recognition and reputation provides a great opportunity for SabraFence.”
