Pelco, Feeling Software Announce Product Integrations

Pelco and Feeling Software announced recently  the integration of the Pelco Endura Video Management System with Feeling Software’s next generation Omnipresence 3D and iGuard products.

The Omnipresence 3D Security Platform, a visual command and control application, may now be deployed to any new or existing location where Pelco Endura is installed.

An integrated system including Endura, Omnipresence 3D and iGuard Mobile Surveillance is currently being deployed at the École Polytechnique de Montréal, a university with 6,000 students in Montreal, Canada. The deployment is scheduled for completion in summer 2010 and will enable the university to effortlessly monitor and control nearly 400 cameras.

Feeling Software’s Omnipresence 3D platform makes it simple to understand all surveillance video feeds at a glance to maximize the effectiveness of your entire video security solution. Omnipresence provides the context needed to understand massive amounts of visual information created in an enterprise-class surveillance system.

With the addition of an off-the-shelf iGuard server to any Endura system, security guards and managers may now access both live and archived video feeds directly from smart phones and PDAs, including Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch devices.
Pelco Endura is an open, scalable IP video surveillance solution for recording, display and management of unlimited standard resolution, HD, and megapixel cameras.

“We are pleased once again to partner with Feeling Software, a member of the Pelco Partner First Program. This newest integrated solution combines the strengths of both platforms, providing our mutual customers with added flexibility, performance and superior quality,” said Dave deLisser, Pelco director of integration.

“Pelco is a member of Feeling Software’s Technology Partner Program and we are pleased to work with them to create this new HD video surveillance solution,” said Christian Laforte, president of Feeling Software. “Feeling Software’s open platform design makes it easy to integrate into existing open enterprise-class systems.”

  • The Stage is Set

The security industry spans the entire globe, with manufacturers, developers and suppliers on every continent (well, almost—sorry, Antarctica). That means when regulations pop up in one area, they often have a ripple effect that impacts the entire supply chain. Recent data privacy regulations like GDPR in Europe and CPRA in California made waves when they first went into effect, forcing businesses to change the way they approach data collection and storage to continue operating in those markets. Even highly specific regulations like the U.S.’s National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) can have international reverberations – and this growing volume of legislation has continued to affect global supply chains in a variety of different ways.
