HEIT Adds Peter Matino to Management Team

HEIT announced that Peter N. Matino has joined the organization as senior vice president of sales and marketing. HEIT provides integrated technology and business services that continuously monitor, support and secure the financial institution’s technology assets over the cloud, while ensuring compliance readiness.

In his new position at HEIT, Matino oversees business development, client relations and marketing. His responsibilities at HEIT also include ensuring that clients’ evolving technology and compliance needs are met through the company’s managed services, subject matter experts and support resources. HEIT, which merged earlier this year with Simpler-Webb, serves more than 400 community financial institutions.

Matino brings a wealth of experience in leading and managing sales and client service teams, developed over a 30-year career in the financial services and technology industries. Before joining HEIT, Matino served in key leadership positions and was responsible for growing client-centric divisions at American Express, Alliance Data and MagTek servicing community financial institutions. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Susquehanna University.

“The increasing complexity of today’s technology is driving community financial institutions to look for an improved and more flexible way to manage their datacenter infrastructure,” said Dan Holt, CEO of HEIT. “Peter’s experience in building client relationships with some of the leading financial services organizations will be a valuable asset to HEIT as we continue to expand our capabilities and number of client institutions.”

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.”
