Salient Systems Appoints Dave Tynan as Vice President of Marketing

Salient Systems announced the appointment of Dave Tynan to the newly created position of vice president of marketing.

Tynan will be responsible for all strategic marketing and business development programs to enable Salient’s continued growth in the video surveillance marketplace. Based on his experience developing national and global go-to-market strategies and his repeatable track record creating sustainable business growth, Tynan is a valued addition to the executive leadership team at Salient.

After a 20 year international career with 3M, Tynan served as vice president sales and marketing for Loronix (currently Verint), vice president sales for CoVi Technologies, director with GE Security and most recently vice president of global sales and marketing for Avigilon. In addition to earning corporate global marketing awards, Tynan has been responsible for two organizations to be recognized as Deloitte Fast 50 Technology business growth winners.
