Kevin Donovan Named Federal Security Director for Will Rogers World Airport

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) named Kevin Donovan as the federal security director (FSD) for Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City. In this capacity he will be responsible for handling day-to-day security operations, which includes both passenger and baggage screening at OKC.

For more than seven years, Donovan worked in different capacities throughout TSA.  Previously, he was the acting FSD for the airports of the Eastern Washington District, based in Spokane, Wash. He also served as the assistant general manager for procedures in the Office of Security Operations at TSA headquarters. In this role, Donovan helped develop and coordinate national screening procedures and aviation security regulatory requirements.

"Kevin's wealth of experience at TSA and in aviation security will serve him well in his new role at Will Rodgers World Airport," said Ray White, TSA area director. "His proven record will continue to be an asset to the agency and the frontline officers he is charged with leading."

Prior to joining TSA, Donovan served as a member of the U.S. Air Force for more than 22 years. He has a bachelor's degree in International Studies from the U.S. Air Force Academy and earned a master's degrees in business management, logistics management, international relations, and national security and strategic studies. He is a distinguished graduate of the Air Force Institute of Technology and the U.S. Naval War College.
