Steven Donovan Named Oncam Global Inc.

Oncam Global Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Oncam Global Group, has named Steven Donovan as vice president of sales responsible for North America.

Prior to coming to Oncam, Donovan had been the director of business development at Behavioral Recognition Systems Inc., which develops behavioral analytics software.

At BRS Labs Donovan was responsible for promoting new video security technology among targeted end users, strategic value-added resellers, and architectural and engineering firms. Besides helping to plan and implement sales strategies in maritime, nuclear, critical infrastructure, city surveillance and transportation sectors, he managed the OEM program and key relationships at the corporate/enterprise level with defined accounts, and developed the engineering and consultant program.

Earlier, at Samsung Techwin America, in Carson, Calif., Donovan was eastern regional sales manager, and, as a sales executive for JDS Digital Security Systems, a pioneer in the NVR software world, he managed sales channels, including IT/security/system integrators, VARs and national distributors, delivering cutting-edge IP video solutions.

Donovan began his career in imaging technology at Axis Communications Inc., in Chelmsford, Mass., and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Nichols College in Dudley, Mass.

Snap One has announced its popular Luma x20 family of surveillance products now offers even greater security and privacy for home and business owners across the globe by giving them full control over integrators’ system access to view live and recorded video. According to Snap One Product Manager Derek Webb, the new “customer handoff” feature provides enhanced user control after initial installation, allowing the owners to have total privacy while also making it easy to reinstate integrator access when maintenance or assistance is required. This new feature is now available to all Luma x20 users globally. “The Luma x20 family of surveillance solutions provides excellent image and audio capture, and with the new customer handoff feature, it now offers absolute privacy for camera feeds and recordings,” Webb said. “With notifications and integrator access controlled through the powerful OvrC remote system management platform, it’s easy for integrators to give their clients full control of their footage and then to get temporary access from the client for any troubleshooting needs.” 3
